was formed in 2019 by violinist/vocalist Max Barnard and guitarist/keyboardist Nick Devoe. Driven by an eagerness to bring their original music to the masses, they would soon be joined by drummer James Crugnale and began playing at a diverse array of venues throughout the tri-state area. After the subsequent addition of bassist Dylan Taganas, they began work on their debut album Sleepless Nights, taking influence from progressive rock, jangle pop, and pop punk in a timeless testament to teenage heartbreak. With keyboardist Cole Fortier now in the fold, their sound continues to evolve increasingly towards jazz-influenced styles.
has been playing guitar and songwriting since early childhood, initially inspired by the music of Queen. He grew up surrounded by music, with his pianist father involved in both classical and contemporary ensembles. In his early adolescence he would start playing with other musicians, performing with his father's bar bands and forming small ensembles with friends. Once establishing a collaborative partnership with Max Barnard, he began to dedicate more time to the piano, broadening both his capacities for composition and arrangement. His composition within the band primarily draws from progressive rock, pop punk, and jangle pop influences, including artists such as Kansas, Genesis, Styx, Fall Out Boy, Gin Blossoms and The Smiths, and in recent times he has expanded his compositional repertoire towards classical music.
started playing the violin at the age of 5. Since then, he has performed with orchestras throughout the Tri-State area, even spending time playing with string ensembles in Germany. In addition to his classical training, he is well-versed in contemporary styles of music, most evident in his partnership with Nick Devoe, with whom he has been writing music since they reconnected in high school. Upon the formation of Anything Ever in 2019, he took an interest in singing, becoming the lead vocalist of the group. His writing within the band is inspired by a number of contemporary artists such as The Backseat Lovers, Peach Pit, Wunderhorse, Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief, and Alex G, and by great songwriters of the past, including Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Jim Croce, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Elliott Smith.
is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter, and artist in his own right. Throughout his life, Dylan has been exposed to music from the ‘60s to the ‘90s, from genres including classic rock, pop, metal, progressive rock, alternative, and jazz. Performing and recording with many bands over the years, he has extensive experience playing live, opening for bands such as Gin Blossoms and Zebra, and for various international stars from the Philippines, with the most prominent being Arnel Pineda, the current vocalist of Journey. He has also been releasing solo material since 2020, and is currently working on an album of hard and progressive rock songs written between 2022 and 2023. He joined Anything Ever as their bassist in April 2024, bringing his vast experience and consistency to the band.
is a composer of classical music, a piano driven singer-songwriter, and a performer known for his varied musical palette and output of emotional works. Born and raised in Port Jefferson, New York, music was always a part of his family. His father Andrew and sister Andie Juliette are both also singer-songwriters, occasionally performing with Cole as a trio dubbed Tricycle. His work as a songwriter pulls from genres such as soul, jazz, chamber pop, soft rock, progressive rock, and musical theatre. He has released extensive solo material and in 2023 also composed music for the immersive outdoor Forest Music installation at the Wild Center natural museum in Tupper Lake, New York. Future projects include a full length solo album and the release of the debut album of his undergraduate band Arbutus and Vines.
began playing drums early in his youth, gifted a drum for Christmas one year, and moving to a full set a couple years later. Initially playing along to CDs in his basement, he would soon be making guest appearances with his father's swing and rockabilly bands and jamming with Cole. Drawing early inspiration from Ringo Starr, he would later expand his taste to progressive rock, punk, and metal, citing inspiration from drummers such as Neil Peart, Tre Cool, and Keith Moon. With the adaptability to play in almost any style, he formed a musical bond with family friend Nick Devoe in 2020. After one brief meeting, he was immediately inclined to join Anything Ever due to the perfect blend of ideas both familiar and new, with his tasteful drumming pairing seamlessly with the diverse material of the band.
